It's about time! I'm delighted to pay homage to this amazing game. Yet again, I was faced with the challenge of adapting futuristic robots to meet an 1800s Ukiyo-e design. This is one of my favorite things to do! I have developed an aesthetic I call "Asian steampunk". While most steampunk relies on Victorian British design, my challenge is to imagine the industrial revolution through East Asian imagery. It's a fun challenge, and I think I've done a pretty good job here. 

The caption reads:

創生の女神ハ輪廻す
兦滅のため還りぬ

...which translates to:

"The creator goddess is reborn, returned to work destruction."
