'Frugal Hero' Giclée Print

We're sorry, this item is sold out.

This is one of my favorite designs yet! I based the composition on the Yoshida Hiroshi print, "The Honest Grocer of Nezu" (根津正直八百屋). I really wanted to show a slice of life from the pre-modern era. And what says 'every day' better than grocery shopping?

The large cartouche reads, "腕犯漫" which verbally can be read as "Wan Pan Man", but the characters literally mean "an arm accosts in an unrestrained manner".

The smaller cartouche says, "面白半分で勇者", which means "a hero for the heck of it".

Archival pigments on acid-free handmade Japanese paper.

Every print is signed and sealed by Jed.
Measures 12x17 inches.

For framing, I recommend a 16x20 inch (or 40x50 cm) frame, which is a standard factory size at any major craft or home decor store. Very affordable for all you frugal heroes!

手漉き和紙(耳付き)と顔料絵の具を使用。
各作品に絵師ジェッドのサインと落款付き。
